Our Cheese

You can find our cheeses at the Vine Street Lexington Farmers Market on Saturdays during October, at the indoor Saturday market at Victorian Square through November and December, and at selected restaurants and wineries.  At this time, we don’t ship, but contact us if you are in the Lexington area because we frequently deliver for a minimum order.
                                  

For Your Indulgence …

FRESH CHEVRE - The creamy texture and mild flavor of this spreadable cheese comes in several flavors: garlic-chive, chipotle, (smoky with a spicy-hot kick), three pepper, pesto, and dill. We will be adding more flavors during the holidays (like olive-nut and bourbon-pecan), as well as serendipitous whims we might have - or that you might suggest.

FETA - If you like this delectable, salty Greek cheese, you will love our version We pack ours in extra virgin Italian olive oil, then add basil, garlic and sundried tomatoes. It’s an adventure in three cultures: Greek, Italian and Bluegrass …

We can also pack feta dry or in brine so that you can add your own enhancements … Just let us know.

Our Signature Cheese

FLEUR - the French word for flower or bloom. We don’t mean to sound  “uppity,” but this is the cheese you would traditionally find at an outdoor French market or at a cheese shop or fromagerie.  And just to assure you, we have worked for two years in our farmhouse kitchen to perfect the flavors of this cheese, and now we think it’s ready for presentation.  With its bloomy white rind and creamy, yet sliceable texture, you’ll experience rich but subtle nuances of wild mushroom flavors and early-morning woodsy aromas  If you like blue cheese, this one is “on the way to blue,”  yet more delicate. It’s a perfect addition to a cheese course,  a heavenly topping to a charcoal-grilled steak or fresh green salad, yet perfectly appropriate for a “Big Blue” tailgate with crackers or slices of baguette

To be proper, we call it en fleur or “in bloom.”
