Pop's Truck …

Our ‘49 green Chevy truck is a little like an “heirloom” that has been passed down through the family.  As you might imagine, it takes a lot of wrench turning to get this vintage truck running well enough to drive the fifteen miles from our farm to downtown Lexington.

We’re hopeful about getting it to the Vine Street Farmers Market at least once during the season. Keep an eye out for us, but if you don’t see the truck, you’ll know we had a little trouble cranking it up on a frosty Saturday morning.  Just look for our friendly “Bleugrass Chevre” stand and our farmstead goat cheeses on Vine Street.  It might surprise you, but our handmade cheese-making tradition is many centuries older than the truck.
